We knew Lynne and Ollie’s wedding was going to be a fun one. We just didn’t realize how much fun it was going to be. Lynne had us cracking up and we had such a good time laughing and joking with her. She has a smile and laugh that can light up a room. They shared a great day at the Metal Museum surrounded by tons of family and friends. They included some traditions, including a German Chalice where 2 people share a drink at the same time. They danced the night away under a nice heated tent along the bank of the river. It was sentimental day followed by a great big party! Just the way it should be…

The day was exactly the way it should be. Erin and Josh spent their day surrounded by amazing friends and loving family. From the first look to leaving the reception in an antique car, every detail was well thought out. They had one of the most moving ceremonies we have ever been to, Josh’s dad, Danny, made sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the church. They were a blast to be around, as always. We enjoying spending the day with them, their church, their friends, their family, their community. Thanks for sharing your day with us.

Gracie and Ryan knew their wedding day would be on a tight schedule. After talking it over with them, they decided that the most important pictures to them would be of the two of them. We couldn’t agree more! We decided that a “day after” session would be the perfect way for them to get exactly what they wanted. How fun to dress up again in your wedding dress anyway! We had a great time and would suggest other couples who feel they are in a time crunch on their wedding day to do this too. It was a relaxed way to get amazing couple portraits and a fun way to start their honeymoon. They are in Mexico on the beach and we are in Memphis…..jealous!

Gracie has been babysitting for us for a while now and we (and our kiddos) have grown so fond of her. Since we’ve known her she dated and got engaged to Ryan. The wedding planning started and we watched them make the day theirs, but keeping it simple. While driving to the wedding Gracie texts us “the church has no power” Once we arrived it was confirmed. Gracie and Ryan took it in stride and didn’t let it damper their spirits at all. The ceremony ended up being amazing, the bridesmaids walked down with their bouquets and their flashlights! It was so intimate by candlelight and at the end of the day, they were Mr. and Mrs. Gordon. They showed off their amazing wedding party by doing a great reception entrance performance. They had a packed dance floor all night. Tara even got caught dancing a bit! It was a great party and celebration!
