month: July 2010

Class of 2011! Emily is the SGA President at Collierville High School and upon meeting her we immediately knew why. She has a smile and personality that just doesn’t quit! She is our first 2011 Senior and we could not have dreamed of starting off with someone other than her. Emily has got some major modeling talent! She was beyond photogenic and moved like she knew what she was doing. Congratulations on starting your Senior year and we hope it is amazing for you.

Parker is one! Parker was a flower girl in Tracy and Brian’s wedding just a few weeks ago. When her mom mentioned one year old pictures we were so excited. Parker has the cutest, roundest face ever. She is a very curious little girl. Her blue eyes are amazing and her smile is pretty cute as well. We loved being with the whole family again and hope we will see them all soon.

Tracy and Brian got married at Faith Baptist Church. Faith is like home to us, we know and LOVE their coordinator, Marilyn. Brother Danny always provides such a personal and worship filled ceremony. We tend to know several of the guests and wedding party members which just makes for a perfect day. Tracy smiles and laughs at all of Brian’s jokes (well at least the fish one!) Brian looks at Tracy adoringly. Really these two behind our cameras, even on a hot July day, were amazing. Tracy’s one request was the wedding party jumping. They were all happy to oblige and we all had a good laugh! They are a really fun couple who made us feel like part of their crowd!

Families are ever changing. It’s really amazing to see how quickly children grow up and change. The Blen family went to a school auction, looked at tons of amazing donations and chose one that would freeze time for a moment. They ended up winning the portrait package we donated and we are so glad they did. They welcomed us into their beautiful home and we got to catch them just being themselves. They were so much fun, it was hard to leave. We can’t wait for the next time that we get the opportunity to photograph them.
